(Vigna unguiculata L. Walp.) (2n=2x=22), belonging to the Phaseoleae tribe of the Leguminosae family, is an economically important warm season legume crop in the tropics and sub-tropics. The cultivated cowpea included two main subspecies, grain-type common cowpea and vegetable-type asparagus bean. Common cowpea is mainly distributed in Africa, Mediterranean Basin and Latin America, which using its dry grains as a stable food for man and fodder for livestock. Asparagus bean, also known as long bean or yardlong bean, is mainly cultivated in East and South Asia countries such as China, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia, which using its tender pods as vegetables.
Here we provided services for cowpea genomes from 11 accessions, including five vegetable cowpeas and six grain cowpeas. We also provided the SNP data, phenome data form our partial studies.
